Youth Empowerment and Positive Development supports young people through mentorship, leadership development, life-skills training, communication support, positive peer connection, and structured activities that promote discipline, confidence, safety, and healthy decision-making.
This program helps young people stay active, connected, focused, and supported. It provides positive spaces where youth can build teamwork, leadership, responsibility, self-confidence, and relationships with caring adults and mentors.
Eclipse Mavericks of Oregon "E.M.O." Sports Club operates within this program as ARISE and Shine’s community sports club. E.M.O. uses sports as a tool for mentorship, teamwork, youth engagement, leadership development, and positive community connection.
